By a quiet Saturday evening, the gathering space feels calmer with this chandelier in place. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.

We made room for this chandelier to bring the room together without making it formal, and the whole setup makes more sense now. I like it most when the space where everyone gathers is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. I like that the central part of the house feels finished while still looking lived in.
