Like a wise old tree asleep in the cold winter woods, the Winter Solstice chandelier is an abstract expression of light that is perfectly poetic. Intricacies abound with long Black finished branches hibernating until the light from creamy colored Natural Linen shades on bobeches provides a warm embrace. Custom crafted by Meyda artisans at the foothills of New York's Adirondacks, the fixture is a unique Nature-inspired lighting design.

For us, a quiet Tuesday morning is when the space where everyone gathers feels most complete with this chandelier. I like it most when the space where everyone gathers is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It feels intentional without asking for attention every time I walk into the room.

By a busy Saturday afternoon, the space where everyone gathers feels calmer with this chandelier in place. The tiered format was one of the details I had already decided I wanted. The overall setup feels considered now, but the gathering space still feels relaxed. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

By a relaxed Monday night, the dining area feels calmer with this chandelier in place. It feels just as natural during the usual weekday routine as it does during quiet evenings. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.
