For the room, a unhurried Monday night is a better test of this chandelier than any styled photo. The 12-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. I like it most when the dining room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

When it is relaxed weekend meal, the room looks more resolved with this chandelier in place. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the gathering space differently just because the update is finished. This chandelier works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it.

Calm Saturday morning, this chandelier feels especially natural in the main room. When friends are over, this chandelier simply feels like part of the room. On weekends, I notice it most when the room stays busy a little longer than usual.
