When it is holiday meal, the room feels more welcoming with this chandelier in place. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the dining area differently just because the update is finished. I second-guessed the layout at first, but the dining area feels natural now.

For us, a busy Wednesday night is when the main room feels most complete with this chandelier. The 4-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. The space where everyone gathers makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning.

By a busy Monday night, the space where everyone gathers looks more resolved with this chandelier in place. On weekends, I notice it most when the dining area stays busy a little longer than usual. I notice the improvement most when the room is being used normally rather than styled for company.
