The nicest surprise about this armed sconce is how easily it fits ordinary evenings. The 3-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

Around our housewarming, we added this armed sconce, and it made the room feel complete at the right moment. It feels just as natural during a rushed morning as it does when the house is quiet at night. On weekends, I notice it most when everyone is home and the house is actually being used. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

When it is a slow weekend morning, the reading corner looks more resolved with this armed sconce in place. The wall no longer feels like the unfinished part of the room.
