The dining area looks more complete with this semi-flush ceiling light in place. The 1-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

I like this semi-flush ceiling light a lot, although I needed a few days to get used to how much the entry changed around it. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.
