The room update felt more convincing after my husband was more excited about the update than I expected. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. It has been a genuinely good fit for our home.

Monday unhurried guest-room prep is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the hallway. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

Friday quiet weekend reset is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the upstairs landing. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. I would make the same choice again for this room.
