Maitland Smith Washington Sofa

Here in our main sitting area, even when the room is not perfectly tidy, the piece still makes the overall space feel intentional. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. The piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

Here in our family room, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal this seating piece feels in our day-to-day life. It has quickly become where we land at the end of the day.

From the doorway into our living room, the room finally has a focal point that still feels easy to live with. The whole sitting area feels more relaxed and complete. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our living room.

In our family room, I was trying to keep this room comfortable rather than overly styled, and this sofa fits that goal. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and the room feels more settled. This sofa is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
