Maitland Smith Tate Chest

I chose the chest during a post-move furniture reset, and it helped our primary bedroom feel less temporary. I wanted the room to feel welcoming before people arrived, not overly decorated. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially on a quiet weekday. I am pleased with the decision and with how our primary bedroom came together.

The only reason I am at four stars is that I overthought where the chest should go before the room finally came together.

For the bedroom, my favorite thing is how this chest makes the space feel finished without making it look staged.

I appreciate how this chest contributes to my guest room without competing with everything around it. For me, that makes this chest one of the better choices we made for my guest room.
