Maitland Smith Sanders Desk

My favorite thing is how the desk makes our home office feel finished without making it look staged. The best part for me is that our home office still feels relaxed even with the desk giving it more structure. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and the room finally has that balance. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

Within our work room, friends have seen the room before and after, and they all notice the difference the desk made. It feels good when a furniture choice works for the people who actually live with it. My work corner now feels like part of the home instead of a temporary setup. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our work room.
