I wanted our main dining space to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the table helped with that. It feels just as right for an ordinary dinner as it does when people come over. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and it fits the house better than I expected. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our main dining space.

In my dining room, it has been a quiet upgrade to this room and one we appreciate more in daily use than we expected. The room took one extra round of rearranging before I was completely happy with it.
