Maitland Smith Pearlescent Chest of Drawers

I was trying to keep the living area comfortable rather than overly styled, and this piece fits that goal. From different parts of the living area, this piece still feels like it belongs with everything else. I like that this piece works with what we already had in the living area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.

The best sign is that this chest already feels like part of our regular routine in the bedroom. The space feels calmer now without looking too formal. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the bedroom.
