Maitland Smith Nova Console

I notice this console table most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. It gives the transition through the space a more finished feeling. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

I was aiming for understated, and this console table landed in the right place visually.

Instead of changing everything in my front room, I added this console, and that was enough. Walking past it every day, I like the room more than I did before. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when the room is being used normally. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my front room.

Within the front room, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet the piece noticeably improved the way the room comes together.
