Maitland Smith Ming Console Table

Even with the rest of our hallway unchanged, this console table made the setup feel more complete. The area feels intentional now instead of like a pass-through.

Here in the living area, there is something nice about furniture that makes the room feel better without changing how you live in it. The area feels intentional now instead of like a pass-through. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. The space feels calmer in the normal flow of the house. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.

Looking at our entryway now, of everything I changed in the room, this console made the most immediate visual difference. Our entryway feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
