Maitland Smith Majorca Dining Table (MAJ21)

There is more cohesion in our main dining space now, and it happened as soon as this table went into place. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially when I see it from the doorway.

My partner keeps pointing out that this dining table was one of the better choices we made for our dining room. Nobody treats the room like a showroom, and the piece still looks right in real life.

Within our main dining space, I had been overthinking this part of the space; this dining table solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.

For our dining area, it is easy to appreciate this table on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in this room. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
