Maitland Smith Eclipse Console Table (SH08-042417)

A month later, I am even happier with how the piece works in the entryway. The area used to feel like an in-between space, and now it has a clear purpose visually. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I am glad I took the time to choose the piece.

The furniture we keep long term is usually the furniture that disappears into our routine, and this console table is already doing that. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this console table is part of our entryway. Walking past it every day, I like the room more than I did before. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I am pleased with the decision and with how our entryway came together.

Here in my entryway, I kept coming back to this piece because it looked like it would suit the space, and it does.

Our routine did not have to change around this console; it slid into my hallway naturally. This console is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
