Maitland Hunter Cocktail Table

In the context of my sitting room, the balance in the room changed for the better once the table was there. Even a simple evening on the sofa feels a bit more pulled together with it there. It gives the seating area a clear center without making the room feel formal. What surprised me was how natural it felt with pieces we already had, especially at the end of the day. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my sitting room.

For this part of the house, the balance in the space changed for the better once this table was there. I did not need to change the rest of our sitting room for this table to make sense there. The living area feels better when we are gathered around for coffee, conversation, or a quiet night in. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

We chose this coffee table after a major clean-out and reset of our main sitting area, and the space feels much more intentional now. Finishing the room after so many other decisions felt like a relief. For me, that makes this coffee table one of the better choices we made for our main sitting area.

Seen with the rest of my living room, there is something nice about furniture that makes this room feel better without changing how you live in it.
