Op art (optical art) developed in the 1960s as an artistic style that used geometric shapes to generate optical illusions. With a nod to the genre, designer Remedios Simón created Spiro, a charismatic Chandelier whose frame contains a mass of irregular wood veneer spirals.
Available in six outer shell versions (cherrywood or red veneer, large acrylic white or black, medium acrylic white or black), Spiro is an impressive light with an enchanting aura. Similar to op art, Spiro plays with the physiology and psychology of human perception, its charm utterly irresistible.

Additional Features
- Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated.
- Our eco friendly patented wood veneer finish timberlite® protects your veneer from breakages and allows for easy cleaning.
- The photographic reproductions of our illuminated wood veeners are a guide only. Veeners will appear differently depending on the lighting conditions and Kelvin temperature of your light source.
- Canopy Dimensions: 6.7" Diameter
