Estela is a captivating capsule of light. In Estela, Mayice designed a clean, clear, single piece of borosilicate glass. Hand-blown by the accomplished artisan Eduardo Garuti, the glass envelopes a cylinder-like wood veneer diffuser. The wood veneer houses a dimmable LED light source, and a straight opening on one side emits downward light that is softened by the glass. Offering a seamless connection between both glass and wood, Estela is a radiant lamp with a celestial-like quality. Similar to Dune, Estela’s natural imperfections, a characteristic of hand-blown glass, add to its warmth and elegance. Each lamp is signed by the artisan, Eduardo Garuti.

A feather duster or an air blower is preferable. In our more solid shades, a damp cloth may be used. Clean only the flat surface of the veneer with the cloth avoiding moisture contact along the edge of the veneer. Depending on the type of lamp use a feather duster made from wood strips soft cleaning cloth or damp cloth for cleaning. On our more delicate shades.

We selected this suspension light to make the gathering area feel more considered, and the room feels calmer now. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day.

The part I notice most about this suspension light is how naturally it became part of the room. The LED version matched one of the practical details I had already decided on.

The entry has a clearer center with this suspension light in place. The room makes more sense as a whole now.
