Oyster Shell 5 - Light Pendant

The kitchen area has a better sense of balance with this pendant light in place. The 5-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. The part of the room we use every day makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the breakfast area better.

We use the breakfast area most naturally on Monday afternoon, and this pendant light fits that rhythm well. I kept coming back to this one partly because I was looking for a 5-light version.

Calm Sunday mornings are when this pendant light feels least like a new purchase in the corner we use every day.

Our entry started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; my brother noticed the room first the next evening. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.

During ordinary weekday, this pendant light feels especially natural in the kitchen area. It feels just as natural during friends dropping by as it does during weeknight dinners.
