Our dining area made the most sense once we had company over on a quiet weekend; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. The dining room makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning. It has already been part of slow weekends, ordinary mornings, and plenty of ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this gathering space.

On long conversation after dinner, I notice how naturally this chandelier fits the dining room. On weekends, I notice it most when the dining area stays busy a little longer than usual. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.

Busy Friday morning, this chandelier feels especially natural in the central part of the house. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up in the space where everyone gathers.
