Ethan Chandelier

A rainy Tuesday afternoon is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the space where everyone gathers. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.

By a busy Tuesday afternoon, the dining area feels less unfinished with this chandelier in place. I like that the dining area feels finished while still looking lived in. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the gathering space better.

On Thursday, a relaxed evening is when the dining room feels most complete with this chandelier. I like it most when the dining area is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the room differently just because the update is finished.

Our kids kept saying the room finally felt finished on a calm Sunday afternoon, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the main room. The change is more noticeable in daily life than it was when I first pictured the room. I notice the improvement most when the gathering space is being used normally rather than styled for company. I needed a few days to get used to the main room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.
