In the area we were updating on a ordinary Sunday afternoon, this lighting piece feels like part of everyday life.

The area we were updating on a slow Saturday evening is when I appreciate this lighting piece most.

What matters most in daily use about this lighting piece is how comfortable the room still feels when it is busy. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over. I notice the improvement most when the part of the house we use most in the evening is being used normally rather than styled for company. I would make the same choice again for this area we were updating.
