My parents noticed the room first the next evening on a relaxed Tuesday afternoon, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the room. The dining room makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning. The overall setup feels considered now, but the room still feels relaxed. The dining room feels better for having it there.

At home on Wednesday evening, the room feels more resolved with this chandelier in place.

A slow Saturday morning is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the room. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the room differently just because the update is finished.
