Looking at the guest bedroom now, this was the piece that made the space stop feeling half-finished. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and the room feels easier on the eye. It changed the tone of the room more than any smaller update could have. I can change smaller things around this bedroom piece without feeling like the whole plan for the guest bedroom has to change. This ended up being exactly the kind of update the guest bedroom needed.

For our primary bedroom, my partner keeps pointing out that this bed was one of the better choices we made for the space. That reaction made me feel better about taking my time with the choice. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when the house is busy. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in. This bed is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
