Jonathan Charles XO Side Chair - Set of 2

Looking at my reading corner now, there is a quiet confidence to the seat that works well in the space. It was not an instant yes for everyone in the house, but it grew on us quickly.

For our family room, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that this seat is part of the arrangement. It made the corner feel inviting rather than simply filled. It has become one of the seats people naturally gravitate toward. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially when friends are over. For me, that makes this seat one of the better choices we made for our family room.

Here in the reading corner, the best part is that the piece looks intentional in the room without asking for all the attention. It was not an instant yes for everyone in the house, but it grew on us quickly.

Looking at the bedroom now, the piece works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and this got us much closer to it.
