Jonathan Charles Hydra Parchment Console Table

As part of our front room, my partner and I had different ideas for the room, and the console ended up being the thing we both liked.

Our front room feels much more pulled together now, and this console is a big reason why.

As part of our living area, there is a quiet confidence to this piece that works well in the space. I like how this piece gives our living area a clearer point of view without taking over. It works with what we already owned, so I did not feel like I had to rethink everything around it. The room took one extra round of rearranging before I was completely happy with it.

As part of our hallway, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and this console table works well with that idea. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I wanted the room to feel finished without feeling formal, and this gets very close to that balance. I was hoping this console table would pull our hallway together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. Seeing this console table with the rest of our hallway makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. Our hallway feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
