Our routine did not have to change around this chair; it slid into the reading corner naturally. I was hoping this chair would pull the reading corner together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. What surprised me was how quickly the room started to feel finished, especially on a quiet weekday. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I am glad I took the time to choose this chair.

For our family room, the room finally has a focal point that still feels easy to live with. I did not need to change the rest of our family room for the piece to make sense there. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially on a quiet weekday. I like that the piece works with what we already had in our family room instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. Our family room feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

In our sitting area, someone asks about this seat almost every time we have people over, which still makes me smile.

There is a quiet confidence to the piece that works well in our reading corner.
