John Richard Pared Sideboard

A lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this credenza also works with the rest of the dining room. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I did not need to change the rest of the dining room for this credenza to make sense there. This credenza is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

Family came over recently, and this sideboard ended up getting more compliments than anything else in our living area. It was nice to hear someone else notice the same improvement I had been seeing. I would make the same decision for our living area again.

The nicest part is how naturally the sideboard became part of our everyday use of my living area. I did not need to change the rest of my living area for the sideboard to make sense there. What surprised me was how quickly the room started to feel finished, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. I would make the same decision for my living area again.
