For the dining room, this piece turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I was hoping this piece would pull the dining room together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for the dining room.

Within my main dining space, I wanted this room to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and this credenza helped with that. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially at the end of the day.

The room feels less temporary with this credenza in it. I can change smaller things around this credenza without feeling like the whole plan for our main dining space has to change. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and the room finally has that balance. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when I see it from the doorway. Seeing this credenza with the rest of our main dining space makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. This credenza is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
