Italian Heritage Coffee Table Floor Sample

For my living room, this piece turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my living room.

From one side of my family room to the other, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way the space comes together. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for my family room has to change. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the room feels easier on the eye. I did not need to change the rest of my family room for this piece to make sense there. The whole sitting area feels more relaxed and complete. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.

For our family room, I kept the rest of the space simple, and this piece gives the space just enough presence. The overall effect is polished but still comfortable. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and this got us much closer to it. Our family room feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
