Monday ordinary cleanup is when this pendant light feels most at home in the room. I had already decided I wanted a 1-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. I second-guessed the layout at first, but the room feels natural now.

Our dining area made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; people naturally stayed in the room longer. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.
