By quiet late snack, this linear pendant feels completely normal in the room. The 1-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Our space over the table made the most sense once friends stayed longer than planned; the update made more sense once the room was full of people. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day.
