A beautiful way to illuminate any room, the Parasol semi-flush fixture is both delicate and impressive. Each arm was designed to nest a pieced of slumped art glass to great effect. According to HF designer Jason Hancock, a "milky" candelabra bulb is the ideal choice to give this fixture the most elegant look.

Friday calm cleanup is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the small eating area. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over.

Rainy Sunday mornings are when this pendant light feels least like a new purchase in the small eating area.

When it is the end of a long day, the room looks more intentional with this pendant light in place. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.
