The award-winning Abacus collection adds a new design to its portfolio with the Abacus pendant. A square canopy and multi-dimensional design allow for low-voltage cables to suspend glass globes at customized heights on each set of cable "rails". Perfect for grand spaces where the cascading globes create a focus, or for stairwells or entryways. All Hubbardton Forge products are hand-crafted to last one at a time in Vermont.

Wednesday calm cleanup is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the main room. It has been part of quiet mornings, busy evenings, and normal life. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over.

Friday quiet coffee is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the kitchen area. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

On the end of a long day, I notice how naturally this pendant light fits the kitchen area. The 10-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.

Our kitchen area made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; the whole setup held together naturally. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.
