Using the room normally, I like that the dining table looks good without needing everything around it to be perfect. It feels appropriate for real life, not just for a styled photo. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. For us, it was the right call.

In everyday life, this dining table adds just enough presence to make the dining room feel finished. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now. It has earned its place in the room.

Under normal evening light, the dining table still feels like the right choice for the eat-in kitchen. It felt a bit more noticeable than I expected at first, but the room settled around it quickly.
