During a weekend reset, I realized how much this seating piece contributes to the balance of the sitting area.

Picked for the home office, this accent chair has turned out to be easy to live with and easy to look at. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It gave the corner a reason to be used. The upholstered look makes the piece feel appropriate for a relaxed, lived-in room. It turned out to be exactly the kind of update we needed.

Personally, I appreciate that the seating piece makes the reading corner look finished but not overly styled. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now.
