Thinking about everyday use, the dining room centerpiece fits the open dining area better than something more formal would have. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It feels like a keeper.

The breakfast room feels more coherent now, and this dining table is a big reason why. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment.

Since bringing it into the open dining area, I have liked the space more during ordinary daily life. It has been especially nice during a little work at the table.
