Global Views Colby Console Walnut/Brass

The balance in our hallway changed for the better once this piece was there. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially when the house is busy. Seeing this piece with the rest of our hallway makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. The end result in our hallway feels like our home, only more finished.

The balance in my hallway changed for the better once the console was there. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the console is part of my hallway. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. For me, that makes the console one of the better choices we made for my hallway.

Within the entryway, I like this most when the house is quiet and the space is just being used normally. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially after we stopped fussing with the arrangement. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I am pleased with the decision and with how the entryway came together.
