With the smaller details kept simple, the cabinet works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy. I was aiming for a room with a little more structure and a little less visual noise, and the overall setup now feels much more coherent. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.

In the context of the study, I bought the cabinet for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in the space. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I can change smaller decor around it without feeling like the room has to start over. The study feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

Most days I do not think about the furniture individually, but the piece still makes the dining room feel more settled. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and the room feels easier on the eye. The end result in the dining room feels like our home, only more finished.
