Description

Enveloped in hand-dyed charcoal leather, the stunning Forest Long Cabinet earns its name with distinctive faux bois-patterned quilting on each of its six door fronts. A sleek plinth base in an antique satin gold finish grounds the piece beautifully, while a velvety poly suede-lined interior adds a perfectly polished finishing touch. Behind the touch-latch doors are three separate interior compartments, each containing a shelf and a brass grommet for easy media access.

Once it was in the open dining area, the dining room piece made the rest of the space feel much more deliberate. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now.

I keep noticing that the breakfast room feels more balanced now, especially during family dinners.

Most days, the sideboard simply feels like it belongs in the room beside the kitchen, which is exactly what I wanted. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. It works nicely when we have people over. No regrets on this one.

When things are busy at home, this sideboard still feels like a natural part of the breakfast room rather than a display piece. It gives the space some presence while still feeling easy to live with. It has been easy to live with during everyday meals. It has made ordinary routines in the room feel a little more comfortable and put together. There was no need to rethink the entire room once it was in place, which I appreciated. For us, it was the right call.
