Our room made the most sense once relatives came over for a weekend meal; people naturally stayed in the room longer.

For us, a quiet Wednesday afternoon is when the central part of the house feels most complete with this chandelier.

I picked this chandelier to give the room a more settled center, and the room feels better for it. The overall setup feels considered now, but the dining room still feels relaxed. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.

By a calm Sunday evening, the main room feels more pulled together with this chandelier in place. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. It feels just as natural during takeout nights as it does during family visits. The central part of the house feels better for having it there.
