Simply sophisticated. Drum-style shaping lends a sculptural look to a mixed material coffee table.
A solid blonde-finished pine base is weathered for texture, with a white stone top working some classy contrast into the mix.
From the Hughes Collection

Alluring contrasts, incredible textures, intriguing finishes and modern functionality.
Refined forms take inspiration from many eras, re-worked with reclaimed character woods, slate, stone, and iron for rustic allure.
Woods are reclaimed from old buildings, then bleached, sanded and finished to heighten raw beauty.

In our family room, I wanted the room to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the piece helped with that. Morning coffee and quiet evenings both feel a little more settled in the room now. I would give it five stars if I had not spent so much time second-guessing the placement.

For our sitting room, this table turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I went back and forth on where it belonged before everything clicked.

Nothing about daily life in our family room feels rearranged around the piece, and I like that. I spent a lot of time comparing options and am glad I did not rush the decision.
