I would choose this wall sconce again, though my first idea for the hallway was not the one we kept. My first impression was more cautious than my opinion after living with it for a while. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.

One of the best signs that this wall sconce fits our small sitting area is that my brother noticed the change before I said anything. The room makes more sense as a whole now. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this room.

The change I notice in the living room is how much more resolved the space feels with this wall sconce. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.
