Description
Borge Mogensen's A232 sideboard first appeared in the FDB Mobler catalog in 1964, and in the decades that followed it became a coveted item of vintage furniture. With a reputation like that, it's no surprise that this piece has now found its way back into the company's current lineup. A distinguished representative of the work of one of Danish furniture design's most prominent names, it manages to be both supremely functional, with its wide range of storage options, and, thanks to an FSC -certified veneer finish and custom-crafted brass components, thoroughly stylish. Leaving the room fairly relaxed, the sideboard gives the space a more finished look without changing its character. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. It has been easy to live with during everyday meals. I like that it contributes to the room without turning the space into a display. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.

Most days, the buffet simply feels like it belongs in the open dining area, which is exactly what I wanted. It feels appropriate for real life, not just for a styled photo. It works nicely when we have people over. I also like how the oak detail reads in the room without feeling too showy. I would make the same choice again.

Across the room, this dining room piece reads as part of the space rather than something added as an afterthought. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me. It works nicely when we have people over. There was no need to rethink the entire room once it was in place, which I appreciated. It has been a solid addition to the room.
