The dining area feels more welcoming with this linear pendant in place.

Our longer part of the room made the most sense once my parents came by after the room update; the update made more sense once the room was full of people. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.

On friends coming over for dinner, I notice how naturally this linear pendant fits the main gathering area. I was specifically looking for a linear format for the space, which helped narrow the options. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home.
