The Shinju Pearl Orb Chandelier is made of wrought iron in a contemporary silver leaf finish with flowing branches fitted with fresh-water pearls that reflect the light of the six bulbs. Designer Aviva Stanoff once again looked to nature to create this elegant version of an organic seascape. The frame of the silver chandelier, which is hand-forged, has tendrils that taper at the ends as they trail off to leave an empty space that makes the fixture seem to float.

A slow Sunday morning is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the main room. I kept coming back to this one partly because I was looking for a 6-light version.

A busy Tuesday afternoon is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the gathering space. The 6-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

I finished the room with this chandelier to make the room feel more finished, and it settled into the room quickly. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression.

By a ordinary Tuesday evening, the main room feels more settled with this chandelier in place. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
