The flowing shape of the chandelier was inspired by the crocus flower, which is evident in how its blossoms open toward the ceiling as if they are growing toward the sun. The blooms and frame of the wrought iron chandelier are covered in a contemporary gold leaf finish while the linear leaves are in a contemporary silver leaf finish for a fanciful contrast.

Calm Wednesday evening, this chandelier feels especially natural in the dining area. I kept coming back to this one partly because I was looking for a 9-light version. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the gathering space differently just because the update is finished. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

My dad kept saying the room finally felt finished on a calm Saturday night, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the dining room.
