Our main gathering area made the most sense once friends stayed longer than planned; the update made more sense once the room was full of people. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.

I kept coming back to this linear pendant to finish a space that had always felt incomplete, and it settled into the room quickly.

The longer part of the room feels more welcoming with this linear pendant in place. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.

Our space over the table started feeling different once this linear pendant was in place; my dad was the first person to say the room felt more pulled together.
