The room still feels easy to live with with this wall sconce in place.

Thursday calm guest-room prep is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the hallway. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. Walking past it every day made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

The thing I keep noticing about this wall sconce is how settled the space feels without looking overdone. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious.
